Wedding Party Etiquette, or 'I'm a Bridesmaid....Now What?!'

The Big Ask!
Via polkadottedbluejay.com

Being asked to be in a wedding party is a pretty big deal. Like Ron Burgundy-territory big deal, minus the smell of leather-bound books and rich mahogany!  It's an opportunity to create memories that'll last a lifetime, be a part of one of the biggest moments in your friend's or loved one's life.

There are a lot of things to consider before your wedding party mission, if you choose to accept it: what would you be responsible for financially? Do you know your role and expectations on the big day, as well as leading up to the actual wedding day? How involved with the wedding preparations would the couple request you be? A good starting point when deciding if you're up to the challenge is understanding wedding etiquette, to give you a bit of a cheat-sheet, as well as points you might want to discuss with your proposer before you say 'I do!'

There are of course different rules and understandings for everyone and each wedding is approached in its own way, but this article gives a great introduction to both an engaged couple as well as the people they invite to be a part of their day on broaching some important questions, subjects and concerns early on in the game! Getting these issues out of the way will pave the way to smoother sailing...... Good luck!

Wishing you a day as limitless as you are~
