Murphy's Law dictates that no matter how prepared we are in life, no matter how much time and effort we put into preparing for any and everything under the sun, well, something will come along and upend all that meticulous planning! In matters of the heart, and in particular wedding planning, this principle is magnified and can be a constant theme.... But even in the middle of the chaos or upheaval, things always work out in the end, thanks to quick thinking by the 'village' (planners, vendors, wedding party, etc) So what do you do if the wedding goes off without a hitch - but the honeymoon takes a turn for the unexpected? As in, the groom's travel visa doesn't come through and he can't take part in the big trip?

If you're newlywed Huma Mobin and her new husband Arsalaan Sever Butt, you go on the trip with a heavy heart, your in-laws, and a healthy sense of humour! Huma went on her honeymoon with her in-laws and her photos from the trip are amazing! Her pictures were tongue-in-cheek photo postcards wishing that Arsalaan was with her and nuzzled into the crook of her arm.

I can't even imagine how she would've felt sending pics to the hubby at home while she was on THEIR honeymoon but I love how the way she took this lemons and served us lemonade with a twist (take that, Beyoncé!)
